Sand Lake Resort offers four pontoons for rent to guests and the general public. Half day, full day, evening and multi-day rentals are available from mid-May through September. Our clean and well maintained boats are available for use on beautiful Sand Lake, located on County Highway 61 between the towns of Moose Lake and Sturgeon Lake.

All Sand Lake Resort boats feature quiet and easy to use Honda four-stroke motors and come equipped with life jackets, an anchor, a first aid kit and a map. The rental fee includes one tank of gas, with no refilling fee charged at the end of the rental.

A valid ID, a valid credit card, a $250 damage deposit (covered by the credit card) and a signed rental agreement are required for all boat rentals. Please call for more details or to make a reservation. Boat rental terms and conditions can be viewed here.

 

Guest Boats

Sand Lake Resort guests are encouraged to bring their boats to enjoy while they stay with us. A well maintained DNR boat launch, just around the corner by road and within sight of the resort by water, makes getting on and off the lake a breeze. We have several docks available on a first come first served basis for guests to tie up to free of charge during their stay. We also have overflow parking space available for trailers.

 

Small Watercraft - Free for Our Guests!

Sand Lake Resort is pleased to provide a variety of small boats free of charge for the use of our registered guests. Our kayaks, canoes, paddle boats and paddle boards are all available on a first come first served basis, no reservation required. We also provide free use of life jackets in sizes for babies to adults.
